Travelling safely during the Corona / COVID-19 pandemic

Dear guests, please find the latest Coronavirus information here.

If any Corona pandemic related restrictions prevent you from coming, you can cancel your booking free of charge up to 48h before your arrival. If you can’t maintain your reservation due to the Corona pandemic, please let us know as soon as you can. Since we are a small family business and this crisis hits us – like many others – particularly hard, you’d really help us by postponing your booking, instead of cancelling it. You can gladly postpone it to next year, if you like. With this action you would support us enormously in this difficult time and secure yourself a fine vacation for the future.

In case a lockdown is in order, we can only accept business travelers, people in training or locals in emergency situations.

You can find more Covid-19 related information here.

Vacuum Cleaner

A vacuum cleaner can be found in the basement near the washing machine and dryer. Please put it back after use. The Rabennest is equipped with its own vacuum cleaner. It can be found in the roof slope cupboard near the kitchen table corner. The apartment Rückzug also has its own vacuum cleaner, ironing board and iron.

Ventilation

Our house is very well-isolated. During winter, appropriate airing of the rooms is particularly important. Please open the windows for up to 5 minutes every day to change the air in the room. The heating system will make sure the temperature is increased to pleasant levels again. In summer, it is recommended to air the room early in the morning. That way, the temperature can be kept at pleasant levels.

Visitors Tax

The visitor’s tax of Innsbruck amounts to €2 per day and person (from 15 years up).

Waste

Please separate your waste. It needs to be separated into plastics and packaging, metal, glass, paper, residual waste and organic waste (those bins can be found on the balcony, and in the top floor they are placed in the tea kitchen). The bins for residual waste (white) and organic waste (green) can be found underneath the sink. Please dispose of your garbage in the respective bins at the parking lot.

Water

Our water has its source in the Limestone Alps, and since it’s fresh spring water, it’s perfectly potable. On top of that, the energetic characteristics of our water are enhanced by an in-house system.

Sustainability is a matter close to our hearts, which is why there is a large underground tank in the garden in which rain water is retained and filtered. This water is used in our lavatory facilities and for doing the laundry.

Welcome Card

A few days before your arrival you will receive an e-mail with the key code for self-check-in. There you will also find the link for online check-in. With the complete registration data, we can print out the Welcome Card for you, if you happen to stay for two nights or more. It allows you to use public transport in Innsbruck free of charge and to take part in an activity program free of charge. All you have to do is register as described in the folder.

The benefits included in the card can be found in the folders on display or on our respective website.
