Our action on the Corona / COVID-19 pandemic

From May 19th 2021 we’re open for regular business again!

If you can’t maintain your reservation due to the Corona pandemic, please let us know as soon as you can.

Since we are a small family business and this crisis hits us – like many others – particularly hard, you’d really help us by postponing your booking, instead of cancelling it. You can gladly postpone it to next year, if you like.

With this action you would support us enormously in this difficult time and secure yourself a fine vacation for the future. Read more about our Corona measurements here.

Cancellations during the Corona / COVID-19 pandemic

Reservations that can’t be held due to ordered Corona measurements taken by the government, can currently be cancelled free of charge.  To take advantage of our free cancellation offer, please contact us via apartments@riedz.at.

In order to accommodate you, we can also offer a voucher for your down payment.

All bookings made via a booking portal (such as Booking.com) can only be canceled via the respective booking portal. Thank you very much for your understanding!

Internet

LAN and Wi-Fi can be accessed in the entire building (Name: Freewave).

Just like home

We paid great attention to using premium quality furnishings in the apartments so you can feel at home from the moment you arrive. Your privacy is key! With that in mind and in accordance with our motto “home away from home”, we are very happy to offer our support at the front desk, but only for a short amount of time each day.

Parking Spaces

One parking space per apartment can be found at the back of the house and is included in the price for guests who book directly with us (€9 per day for bookings through other platforms). If you require more than one parking space, please contact us – a fee of €9 per day will be charged. Parking spaces are quite a “luxury good” in Innsbruck!

Room Service

Room service is carried out on a daily basis. If you do not want to be disturbed, simply use the signs in your apartment.

If you stay 14 days or longer, the bed linen and towels will be changed once a week.

In case you want your accommodation to be cleaned an additional time, please contact us. A fee of €20 will be charged.

Shopping

In addition to the bakery across the street, where you can get fresh bread and baked goods every day (except Sundays and public holidays), a supermarket is located in the proximity – the MPreis (turn right after the crossroads on Höttingergasse / Schneeburggasse). On top of that, Café Großgasteiger offers home-made sweet treats (it can be found next to the pharmacy at the crossroads).

A beautiful and hand-printed grocery bag will be waiting for you in your apartment. Feel free to take it with you when you set out for your adventures in the region. If parting ways with this handy companion seems too hard of a task, you are welcome to purchase the linen bag at a charge of €10 at reception.

Shower & Soap

The soap dispensers in our showers are filled with top-quality shower gel produced by a traditional family-run company from Tyrol called “Walde” (www.walde.at).

Snack Machine

A machine offering drinks and in-between snacks can be found in the entrance area.

A manual for the stove is on display in each of our apartments. Please make sure to turn on the fume hood when using the stove. It only needs to be pulled out to be activated. The levels can be adjusted manually.

Vacuum Cleaner

A vacuum cleaner can be found in the basement near the washing machine and dryer. Please put it back after use. The Rabennest is equipped with its own vacuum cleaner. It can be found in the roof slope cupboard near the kitchen table corner.

Ventilation

Our house is very well-isolated. During winter, appropriate airing of the rooms is particularly important. Please open the windows for up to 5 minutes every day to change the air in the room. The heating system will make sure the temperature is increased to pleasant levels again. In summer, it is recommended to air the room early in the morning. That way, the temperature can be kept at pleasant levels.

Visitors Tax

The visitor’s tax of Innsbruck amounts to €2 per day and person (from 15 years up).

Waste

Please separate your waste. It needs to be separated into plastics and packaging, metal, glass, paper, residual waste and organic waste (those bins can be found on the balcony, and in the top floor they are placed in the tea kitchen). The bins for residual waste (white) and organic waste (green) can be found underneath the sink. Please dispose of your garbage in the respective bins at the parking lot.

Water

Our water has its source in the Limestone Alps, and since it’s fresh spring water, it’s perfectly potable. On top of that, the energetic characteristics of our water are enhanced by an in-house system.

Sustainability is a matter close to our hearts, which is why there is a large underground tank in the garden in which rain water is retained and filtered. This water is used in our lavatory facilities and for doing the laundry.

Welcome Card

Provided that you submit your data to us prior to arrival, we will be happy to issue the Welcome Card of the local tourist association upon receipt of the complete registration form. The benefits included in the card can be found in the folders on display or on our respective website.
